A trail of ants across your kitchen counter is a scouting party, not the whole problem. All Over Pest Control identifies the species and nest location before choosing a bait. Overwatered mulch beds right against the foundation are one of the most common ant attractants we find during inspection.
Carpenter ants, odorous house ants, and pavement ants all respond to different baits, so we identify the species before choosing one. We track which bait formulation was used at each visit, so follow-up technicians don't start over. We track which bait formulation was used at each visit, so follow-up technicians don't start over.
Every technician carries active Bushnell, IL licensing and full liability coverage for structural pest work. Non-repellent bait gets rotated if a colony shows reduced response over repeated treatments. Non-repellent bait gets rotated if a colony shows reduced response over repeated treatments.

Our vans carry non-repellent bait formulations that ants can't detect and avoid, plus perimeter treatment equipment for exterior colonies. Every service below targets a different ant species or entry pattern, because carpenter ants and odorous house ants behave very differently. We leave a written note of any moisture condition found, since correcting it often matters more than the bait itself. A summary of moisture issues found during inspection is provided, useful even beyond the ant problem itself.
Frass — small wood shavings — near a baseboard or window often marks a carpenter ant nest, and we treat the nest directly once located.
These ants form large, interconnected colonies, so we use non-repellent bait that spreads through the colony network rather than just killing what's visible.
We treat the foundation perimeter and common entry points to stop ants before they cross into the structure at all.
Since many ant species are drawn to moisture, we flag leaking pipes, damp mulch, or excess irrigation contributing to the problem.
For ants already indoors, targeted treatment in cracks, baseboards, and cabinet gaps addresses trails without a broad interior spray.
A scheduled follow-up confirms the colony has actually been eliminated, not just temporarily scattered from the treated area.
Call +1-844-564-2570 and describe the trail location and any wood shavings or damage you've noticed, which helps us identify the likely species.
Most Bushnell, IL ant calls get a technician on-site same-day or next-day, since colonies can expand and split into satellite nests quickly.
The technician traces the trail, identifies the species, and gives you a flat price before choosing a bait or treatment approach.
We guarantee the treatment through the follow-up visit — if the colony persists, we adjust and re-treat at no charge.

Repellent sprays break the visible trail but rarely reach the actual nest, so the colony usually just relocates nearby.
Trail patterns, nest location, and physical appearance all differ between species, and we identify it during inspection before treating.
They nest in moisture-damaged wood, so their presence often indicates an underlying moisture issue worth addressing.
Bait placement avoids open pet-accessible areas, and every product we use is EPA-registered and label-compliant.
Non-repellent bait typically shows a visible drop in activity within one to two weeks as it spreads through the colony.
We back the treatment with a guarantee window — ask your technician for the specific terms for your property.
